User Licence: References below to "User Licence" relate to the Registration Code issued to Register (enable) a single installation of Report Rascal.
Private Licence: A single User Licence.
Site Licence: A number of User Licenses, as requested at the time of purchase and confirmed in the documentation issued by Report Rascal.
Registration: Each User Licence permits the Registration (enablement) of Report Rascal on a single computer - this can be a school or home-based desktop or laptop computer.
Registration of more than one installation of Report Rascal using a particular User Licence is a violation of these Licensing Conditions, except where permitted in Re-Registration.
- Re-Registration: A particular User Licence can be used to register another installation of Report Rascal under the following circumstances: -
- Computer Loss: For both Private and Site Licenses, an installation of Report Rascal that becomes unavailable to the original licensee due to Computer breakdown, theft, sale etc. may be reinstalled and re-Registered using the original User Licence.
- Staff Departure: In the case of a User Licence issued as part of a Site Licence, if a staff member to whom a User Licence has been allocated departs from the school, that User Licence may be reallocated to another staff member within the same school, provided that the total number of Registered (enabled) installations of Report Rascal in use by current staff does not exceed the number permitted by the Site Licence. The departing staff member is under no obligation to discontinue their use of Report Rascal and may continue to use Report Rascal under the terms of these Licence Conditions.
User Licence Expiry: User Licenses have no expiry date; the purchase cost is a one-off expense.
